Here at HGV TRAINING (MIDLANDS) LIMITED –
HGV Training has never been so simple.

With a combination of over 30 years in house experience we offer exactly what it says on the tin with an excellent service for both HGV & CPC.
We operate from the West Midlands so we have a great central location!

We pride ourselves on giving you a personal service, everyones journey and circumstances are different so we aim to give you what need and the support required to reach your goals.

OUR COURSES
CATEGORY C
LGV Category C (Formerly HGV Class 2)
The LGV Category C licence was formerly commonly known as HGV class 2. The LGV Category C licence will allow drivers who pass the Category C driving test to drive any rigid Category C vehicle up to 32 tonnes. Once you successfully pass your LGV Cat C test, you will obtain Category C on your licence as well as Category C1 (7.5 tonne licence).
CATEGORY C+E
LGV Category C (Formerly HGV Class 1)
​
There is no theory test requirement to obtain a C+E licence if you have already passed your Category C. This is because the "+E" part of a driving entitlement simply means "and trailer over 750kg". By adding the right to tow a trailer, you are simply extending your existing Category C entitlements (for which you would have already passed a theory test for) as opposed to obtaining a new category of licence.
CATEGORY C1
​
With a Category C1 Licence you will be eligible to drive an LGV of between 3,500kg and 7,500kg. You can also add a trailer of no more than 750kg. This vehicle is commonly known as a 7.5 ton, Class 3 or C1, and is typically used for making local supermarket deliveries, or removals.
FAST TRACK
​
We now provide the option to undertake a 10 fast track course. This consists of 10 days attendance including Category C training, Category CE training and the new 3A & 3B practical exams.
REFRESHER TRAINING
​
We offer refresher training for all LGV driving categories. Refresher training is great especially if you're about to start a new job or take an assessment!
It can help you freshen up on your skills and techniques and leave you feeling confident and ready for your new start!
RE-TESTS​
​
We offer re-tests for all training categories the cost for each re-test may vary dependant on category.
We hope that you won't require one but its always good to know in advance the cost if the worst were to happen.
​
You can also do a re-test with us if you failed with another company.
